Ingredients

  • 2 shots of espresso (about 2 oz)
  • 1 cup of milk (whole milk recommended)
  • 2 tablespoons of vanilla syrup
  • 1-2 tablespoons of caramel sauce
  • Ice cubes
  • Whipped cream (optional)

Instructions

  1. Fill a 16-ounce glass with ice cubes, leaving about 1 inch of space at the top.
  2. Pour the vanilla syrup into the glass over the ice.
  3. Slowly pour the milk over the back of a spoon to create a layered effect with the vanilla syrup.
  4. Brew two shots of espresso and let them cool for about 30 seconds.
  5. Slowly pour the espresso over the milk, aiming for the center of the glass to create the signature macchiato look.
  6. Drizzle caramel sauce over the top in a circular motion.
  7. Add whipped cream if desired and an extra drizzle of caramel sauce.
